Norra
your Volvo, in the menu bar.

Battery, range and charging at a glance, plus lock, unlock, honk and flash. Built on Volvo’s official API.

Download for macOS Source on GitHub Signed disk image, not yet notarized: on first launch, right-click the app and choose Open, or allow it under System Settings → Privacy & Security. macOS 13 or newer, Apple silicon and Intel. Needs your own Volvo developer credentials for now.
01 / What it does

The car, without the app.

A menu bar item and a widget. Nothing to open.

  • Battery and rangeState of charge, estimated range and the time to full, straight from Volvo’s Energy API.
  • Charging, liveCharging status and power while plugged in, with a notification when it is done.
  • CommandsLock, unlock, honk and flash from the menu, when you grant the command scopes at sign-in.
  • WidgetsDesktop and Notification Centre widgets with the same numbers.
  • Twelve languagesDanish, Swedish, Norwegian, Finnish, German, Dutch, French, Spanish, Italian, Polish, Portuguese and English.
